Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Day shift position with every other weekend requirement and additional weekend shifts based on unit need
• On-call required as needed
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3+ years of RN Telemetry experience required
• 6 months of travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must be flexible with floating to different campuses or within the hospital; travelers float first as this is a union hospital
• May float to other units within scope of practice, including Summit or Herrick Campus, as well as Oakland campus
• Approximately 1.5 hours notice provided prior to shift start time when floating is requested; shuttle provided for campus floats
• Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS, CPI/MAB
• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips, PICC line management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
