Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position with every other weekend (EOW) requirement and additional weekends based on unit need
• On-call required as needed
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for nights and weekends
• 16 orientation hours required
• 3+ years of RN Telemetry experience required
• 6 months of travel experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS, CPI/MAB
• Must be proficient with telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and central line care
• Skills include blood product administration, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, wound care, tracheostomy care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• May float to other units within scope of practice, including Med/Surg, Summit Campus, or Herrick Campus as needed
• Travelers float first as this is a union hospital
• A shuttle is provided if floating to another campus is requested
• Travelers can anticipate approximately 1.5 hours notice prior to shift start time when floating is required
• Up to one pre-approved time off request permitted per contract
