Telemetry RN Job in Antioch, CA

Join Sutter Health Delta Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our acute care telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care to a 24-bed unit with a daily census of 22 patients, working a 3x12 night schedule on a rotating basis with every other weekend required.

Role Overview

You will care for adult patients with a 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts and weekends. Your responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, central line and PICC line management, blood product administration, and interpretation of arrhythmias including A-fib, A-flutter, SVT, VT, PVCs, and PACs. You'll manage protocols for heparin and IV insulin, provide BiPAP/CPAP and high flow nasal cannula support, manage chest tubes, interpret arterial blood gases, and perform wound care.

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN License with valid Nursys verification
• Minimum one year of current Med/Tele experience (two years preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• ACLS and BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Trauma Level I and II experience
• Previous charge nurse experience

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 3, 2026. You will earn $2,099 weekly.
