Telemetry RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as an RN on the 36-bed Neurosciences unit (6 West) at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a backfill travel position with a 91-day duration, starting July 13, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 shifts: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

Role Details

You'll provide telemetry nursing care with patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 on day shift and 7:1 stretch on night shift. Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC. Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC.

Responsibilities include typical unit procedures such as Foley insertion and IV starts. You'll work with standard med-surge equipment and the Cerner EMR system. You may be required to float to other med-surge floors as needed.

Requirements & Preferences

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Neuro experience preferred
• Outgoing and self-motivated personality preferred
