Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Floating is required to other units or facilities if needed based on census
• Weekend coverage every other weekend, may vary based on unit need
• Patient ratio of 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Documentation system: EPIC - minimum 1 year of experience required
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and SC RN license
• Required skills: Med/Surg Telemetry
• Preferred skills: Telemetry, ER Holding, and Cardiac Telemetry
• Additional preferred skills include: Blood product administration, CVA management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, surgical drains, remote telemetry monitoring, and total joint replacement
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
• Adult patient population
• 30-bed unit with a daily census of 20
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
