ED RN Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of September 21, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work in a fast-paced emergency department environment, providing direct acute care to diverse patient populations. Your role includes managing emergency situations, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and delivering high-quality patient care across varying acuity levels.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: 3x12 Rotating
• Weekly Pay: $2,260
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: September 21, 2026

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin or compact nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care services in the emergency department
• Assess and respond to emergency situations
• Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and support personnel
• Handle diverse patient populations and presenting complaints
• Maintain patient safety and quality care standards

Additional Information

Floating between sister facilities within the designated region may be required. You will be part of a dedicated clinical team supporting emergency services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
