ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• 2+ years of experience in the emergency department required
• Travel experience required
• Some pediatric experience required
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Provide care to all assigned patients including SANE patients
• Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Experience with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun required
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psychiatric beds
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
