ICU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Boswell Medical Center, located at 10401 W Thunderbird Blvd in Sun City, AZ. This is a travel nursing position with an 89-day duration, starting August 3, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12 hour night shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $2,549

Role Responsibilities

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Your duties include:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records accurately and timely
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership activities and support staff orientation and education

Facility and Assignment

You will work primarily at the Boswell campus but may float to the Del Webb campus as needed. Banner Boswell Medical Center is an acute care hospital facility.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the ICU specialty
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
