ED RN Job in Joshua Tree, CA

Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel contract running from October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 days (0700–1930)
• Weekly pay: $1,860
• Contract length: 91 days

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients each shift
• Supervise delegated staff and ensure appropriate task distribution
• Deliver high-quality, safe nursing care across all patient populations
• Maintain clinical competency standards and manage resources efficiently to support patient outcomes

You will work in a fast-paced emergency environment where your clinical judgment and communication skills are essential. This role offers the opportunity to expand your experience in acute care while supporting a community facility in Southern California's High Desert region.

As an RN, you bring current licensure, strong assessment and intervention skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams. A commitment to patient safety and professional standards is required.
