Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics such as age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate methods including bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and planned patient teaching
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care promoting a professional care delivery model
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication methods including interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews
• Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, staff, or students
• Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement
• Uphold all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical competencies including legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Participate in data collection and consult appropriate experts to address practice questions
• Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources
• Must be licensed and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
• Must implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards set forth by the American Nurses Association
