Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 182-day travel assignment starting August 3, 2026, offering $2,258 weekly pay.

Schedule & Expectations

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, running 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6 on both day and night shifts
• CNA support available at 1:8 ratio, generally 1:10
• Floating required to all acute care and cardiology units for medical patients, or to emergency care for acute patient holds
• Telemetry monitoring handled on a separate unit

Clinical & Technical Requirements

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA required for both)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Meditech EMR experience preferred but not required
• BSN not required; RN license sufficient

Facility Information

• Scrub color required: Caribbean Blue
• You must reside within a strict 75-mile radius of the hospital, verified by your driver's license address
