Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position
• Weekend coverage required on an as-needed rotation basis
• On-call required as needed
• Team nursing model with RN/LPN/PCT support
• Patient ratio of 1:7 under team nursing model
• Unit serves adult patients with general Med/Surg diagnoses
• 45-bed unit with a daily census of 45
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg Tele experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Travel experience required; must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Must hold an active RN license in state or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg, MS/Tele
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays if all three fall within the assignment period
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Block scheduling not available; weekend block may be considered
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidacy submission
