Job Details:

• Day shift position supporting patient care needs across the entire facility
• No night shift available
• Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Minimum of 1 weekend shift per month required with preference for increased weekend flexibility
• Patient ratios of 4 patients per day on the IRF unit and 8-12 patients per day in acute care
• Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning
• Conduct team conferences and family training
• Provide adaptive devices and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Utilize two therapy gyms and ADL apartment for patient treatment
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Weekend flexibility required
• Willingness to work on IRF unit required
• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills required
• Hospital and IRF experience highly preferred
• Stroke and neuro experience preferred
• Active OT license required
• Active BLS certification required
• Clinical scrub color: Caribbean Blue
