PCU RN Job in Tucson, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 89-day travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. You will work the night shift, 3 days per week at 12 hours per shift, earning $2,582.10 weekly.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care across two campuses in a progressive care setting. Your assignment may include floating to support approximately 16 adult health units at the primary campus (BUMC Tucson, 1625 N Campbell Ave), including expanded spaces in the ED or PACU designated for adult health inpatients awaiting unit beds. The secondary campus is located approximately 10 minutes away and operates 4–5 adult health units ranging from observation to PCU, depending on seasonal needs.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise plans as needed

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care nursing experience within the past 12 months in the specialty area
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
