Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at MUSC Health Charleston, a Level 1 trauma facility serving adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Up to four on-call shifts per month (end of shift to 7:00 AM)
• Up to one weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM)
• One working weekend per four weeks required
• Minimum one holiday period during assignment (Christmas: December 24–26 or New Year's: December 31–January 1)
• Facility may call off up to one shift per two weeks

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures as assigned
• Float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities as needed
• Support Level 1 trauma operations

Requirements

• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum two years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
