Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Ambulatory OR RN position with day shift hours starting at 6:30 AM
• Schedule options: 3x12s (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or 4x10s (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• One late week per four weeks required to complete cases
• No weekends and no major holidays required
• No on-call requirements
• Potential to float within the Perioperative facility as needed
• Traveler may be called off up to 10 hours per 2-week period (guaranteed hours policy)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: SC or Compact RN License, BLS
• Radiation badge must be provided by parent company
• Charting system experience required; Epic system used
• Preferred experience includes: Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology
• Patient population is adults with a 1:1 patient ratio
• May be required to precept a care team member in the operating room
• Special equipment includes: Lasers (Ophthalmology, ENT, GU, GYN), Mini C-Arm, Storz video towers, Arthrex arthroscopy towers, Neptune suction/smoke evacuation system, beach chair bed attachments, and Allen stirrups
• Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
