Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You'll work as a registered nurse on the cardiac Med-Surg unit at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This 91-day travel assignment begins October 19, 2026, and offers a weekly pay of $1,898 for your expertise and commitment.

Schedule and Staffing

• 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) per scheduling period
• 3–4 weekend shifts required per 4-week scheduling period
• 48-hour guarantee available
• Self-scheduling option
• Floating policy with rotation among other travel nurses

Unit Details

• 30-bed cardiac Med-Surg unit with 1:6 patient ratio
• 6 nurses per shift with a free charge nurse for support
• Unit secretary on day shift; 3 PCTs per shift

Clinical Responsibilities

You will manage cardiac drips including titratable medications such as Cardizem and heparin, and non-titratable drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, and amiodarone. You must be familiar with cardiac medications and possess strong telemetry knowledge and EKG rhythm identification skills.

Technology and Documentation

• GE telemetry and Rover monitoring systems
• Portable WOWs and Welch-Allyn vital sign machines
• Airstrip telemetry monitoring
• Meditech electronic health record system

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• EKG/cardiac rhythm identification certification
• Cardiac and telemetry knowledge
• Navy blue scrubs required as per dress code policy
