ED Registered Nurse Job in Leonardtown, MD

MedStar Saint Marys Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 23, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,191.54.

Schedule & Shift Details

• 3x12 day shift schedule
• Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Orientation held every Monday with 36 orientation hours
• Holiday coverage required

Role Expectations

• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• General Emergency Department combined adult and pediatric care
• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Cerner charting system experience required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Community hospital experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

Preferred Qualifications

• LTAC experience
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience
