ED RN Job in Shawnee Mission, KS

You will work as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Overland Park facility in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $1,960.49

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Required certifications for your state and specialty
• National certification as required by your clinical area
• Completion of skills-based hiring qualifications and assessment requirements

About the Role

As an ED RN, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment. You will assess, monitor, and respond to patients presenting with acute conditions, injuries, and medical emergencies. Your responsibilities include patient triage, implementing treatment protocols, administering medications and therapies, documenting clinical findings, and communicating with the interdisciplinary care team.

You will work alongside physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and support staff to deliver timely, evidence-based emergency care. The role requires strong clinical judgment, ability to prioritize competing demands, and compassion for patients and families during stressful situations.
