Med Surg RN Job in Janesville, WI

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville is seeking an RN for its Medical-Surgical unit. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday coverage availability.

Your Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and State laws
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care according to established standards
• Provide patient and family education and instruction
• Utilize critical thinking to prioritize patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance
• May float to other units as needed to support operational needs

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin nursing license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Education verification required

This is a 91-day travel assignment with a weekly pay of $2,380. Your start date is October 19, 2026. You will utilize the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care while collaborating with your healthcare team to support each patient's longitudinal plan of care.
