Med Surg RN Job in Green Bay, WI

Bellin Health Green Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on their Medical-Surgical float team. You will work evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, five days per week with guaranteed hours between 36 and 48 per week. Overtime is available beyond 48 hours weekly.

As a float team member, you will provide care across multiple units based on facility needs and your skillset, including the observation unit, cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab, and transitional care unit. The facility will attempt to keep you assigned to one or two primary units when possible. You will rotate through every other weekend and holiday schedules with no on-call or callback requirements.

Patient Care Details:

• Patient ratios on PM shifts: 1:4 to 1:5
• Required clinical skills: venipuncture, Cardizem administration, port care, Foley and straight catheterization, and management of stable drips
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred within the past two years

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license or Compact license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum one to two years of general Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred at application; completion required by end of orientation (provided at no charge through Apex Innovations)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience with venipuncture and Cardizem
• Experience managing ports, catheters, and stable drips

Assignment Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,801
• Start date: October 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Shift: 5x8 evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Dress code: No bright colors or character prints on scrubs
• Location requirement: You must be outside a 50-mile radius of Bellin Health
