Med Surg RN Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for its medical-surgical unit. You will provide direct patient care in a rehabilitation setting, supporting patients through various stages of recovery and rehabilitation.

Position Details:

• Shift: 4x12 rotating schedule
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: October 19, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,701

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation unit
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on patient recovery goals
• Document patient assessments and interventions
• Float between sister facilities within the designated region as required

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin RN license or Compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical or rehabilitation floor experience
• BLS certification

You will work with patients at different points in their rehabilitation journey, providing supportive care and clinical expertise. Floating between regional sister facilities may be part of your assignment, so flexibility is important.
