ED RN Job in Gig Harbor, WA

St Anthony Hospital – Gig Harbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026, offering $2,300 per week.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour night shifts weekly in a 21-bed trauma-capable emergency room with a 4-bed fast track area. Your responsibilities include managing a 4:1 patient ratio, caring for critical drips, performing nurse blood draws, reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms independently, and assisting with patient transport to imaging as needed. You will not float to other units and will not have on-call or standby requirements.

Patient Population & Environment

The emergency room averages 109 patients per day. Common presentations include trauma, neuro emergencies, and transfer-out STEMIs, with over 30% of patients aged 60 or older. You will work within EPIC charting system and operate in a high-volume setting requiring independent clinical judgment.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (Washington state or Compact)
• ACLS, BLS certifications
• TNCC, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• ENPC or PALS (whichever applies)
• NRP preferred
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal
• BSN not required
