Case Management RN Job in San Francisco, CA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in Case Management at Sutter Health CPMC Davies Campus North Tower in San Francisco. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility with two days onsite and three days remote each week.

Schedule and Compensation

• Five 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• $3,105 per week
• 91-day assignment starting November 16, 2026

Role Responsibilities

You will manage complex cases across the Sutter Health system and support patients in the community virtually. Your caseload will include approximately 20 patients during day shifts, with a focus on adults and geriatric populations. You will float between offices in San Francisco and Emeryville as needed.

Core responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, concurrent review, medical necessity review, prior authorization requests, and InterQual criteria application. You will also manage DRG knowledge and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including interpretation services and social services.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• Inpatient case management experience required
• Travel experience required
• Valid California RN license
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma Level I and II experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
