Med Surg RN Job in Maryville, TN

Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg role in Maryville, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 2, 2026, offering $1,972 weekly pay.

Shift Details

• 3x12 night shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on unit needs
• Floating to similar units based on skill set when needed

Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license
• Minimum 1 year orthopedic specialty experience
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Minimum 1 year EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Teaching and community hospital experience

Clinical Skills

You will care for adult and geriatric patient populations with a typical patient ratio of 1:6. Required competencies include blood product administration, peripheral line care and management, IV insertion and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, and total joint replacement care. You will also manage ports, colostomy and ileostomy care, feeding tubes, central line blood draws, PICC lines, and peripheral nerve block catheters. Experience with Omnicell medication system is expected.
