Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three shifts per week
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend required
• On-call is rare; if required, on-call is for the first 4 hours
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Block schedule available upon manager approval dependent on unit needs
• Required skills include: cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, PICC line management, peripheral line care/management, wound care/wound vac, phlebotomy, feeding tube care and management, high flow nasal cannula, pacemaker management, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, pre/post hemodialysis management, starting and maintaining IVs, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
