Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Baptist LTACH Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for a night shift position in our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. This is a 91-week contract role offering 4x12-hour nights with a weekly pay rate of $2,298.

Schedule & Availability

• Night shift: 4 days per week, 12 hours per shift
• 36 or 48 hours per week available, with standard 40-hour weekly schedule Monday through Friday
• On-call coverage required after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, shared rotating schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
• Primary and backup call support provided

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Neurology experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year EPIC EMR experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Key Responsibilities

• Complex wound care management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Daily census approximately 15 patients
• Potential floating to other units or campuses based on census needs and documented competencies

Support & Resources

You'll have access to an interdisciplinary care team including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to support your patient care.

Contract Terms

Start date: September 21, 2026. Contract length is 91 weeks. 13 to 26 week contract options are available.
