Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Baptist LTACH Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on the Med/Surg unit. This is a night shift role in a long-term acute care setting where you will provide skilled nursing care to a patient population of approximately 15 adults and geriatric patients per shift.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4x12 nights (36 or 48 hours per week available; standard schedule is 40 hours Monday–Friday)
• On-call coverage required after 5:00 PM daily and weekends, shared rotation among 6 to 8 staff members with primary and backup call support
• Contract length: 13 to 26 weeks
• Location: Columbia, SC

Responsibilities:

You will manage complex patient care including dysrhythmia interpretation and management, complex wound care, and tracheostomy care and management. You will work within an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. Floating to other units or campuses may occur based on census needs and your demonstrated competencies.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Neurology experience required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• LTAC experience preferred

Compensation:

Weekly pay: $2,298. Start date: September 21, 2026. Duration: 91 days.
