Telemetry RN Job in Spartanburg, SC

You will work as a registered nurse on the Med/Tele unit at SRHS – Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care, a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility. This is a night shift position with 4x12 hour blocks.

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 1:6 across days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Floating to lower levels of care within your skillset as critical staffing needs arise
• Block scheduling is not available

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience; 2 years preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Moderate Sedation Test on the first day of orientation (one attempt allowed)

Required Skills and Experience

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Mechanical ventilation modes: CV, CMV, A/C, SIMV, PS, PC, IRV with or without PEEP
• Ventilator training for home discharge and weaning protocols
• Vapotherm equipment operation
• Mechanical ventilation and dialysis management
• Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required

Patient Population

You will care for adults and geriatric patients with acute respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation, sepsis, osteomyelitis, acute renal failure, pneumonia, heart failure, and post-COVID conditions.

Assignment Terms

• 91-day contract with guaranteed hours based on your signed commitment
• Weekly pay: $2,321
• Start date: September 21, 2026
• Holiday coverage required: either 1 holiday with 2 on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, or 2 holidays with no on-call shifts
• All requested time off must be submitted with your initial application; requests made after signing will not be considered
• Attendance policy: more than two unexcused missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in contract cancellation
• Shaving may be required to pass an on-site fit test
• 75-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
