Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Baptist LTACH Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on their Long-Term Acute Care unit in Columbia, SC. This is a 91-day travel contract beginning September 28, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,278.

Schedule and Hours

• 4x12 hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week, with 36 or 48 hours per week options accepted
• Weekends supported by rotating call shared among 6–8 staff members
• On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and weekends, supported by Primary and Backup call Techs

Experience and Certifications Required

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and Telemetry experience
• Neurology experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent unit experience considered
• 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Role Responsibilities

• Care for daily census of 15 adult and geriatric patients
• Complex wound care and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Float to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs and demonstrated competencies

Support and Resources

• Interdisciplinary team includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of receiving login information

Contract options of 13 or 26 weeks are available.
