Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Rotating nights and weekend call required
• Weekends covered on an as-needed basis when on call
• Provide support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses for procedures performed in the Interventional Cath Lab
• Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under cardiologist supervision
• Perform accurate monitoring, equipment setup, and fluoroscopy
• Perform or assist with procedures including cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, ECMO, TAVR, Watchman, and ventricular assist device insertion
• Perform EKG lead placement, prep access sites, and maintain sterile field as room scrub/circulator
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately
• Treat patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• May be responsible for mentoring and training students
• 2 years of Interventional Cath Lab experience required; structural heart experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and RCES, CRT, RCIS, or ARRT accepted
