Telemetry RN Job in San Francisco, CA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in a 32-bed Telemetry unit at Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus in San Francisco. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning December 14, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• $2,531.09 weekly pay

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting with a full daily census of 32 patients. Your responsibilities include specialized care for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases, including transplant recipients. You'll manage complex gastrointestinal disorders and support abdominal organ transplant patients and those recovering from advanced abdominal surgeries, including Whipple procedures.

Key Competencies

• Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing expertise with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Rapid Response and Code team coordination
• Peripheral line care and management
• Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Feeding tube care and management
• Liver transplant patient care

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

You'll work alongside Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and other clinical departments to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current, valid California nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; 2 years preferred
• Transplant experience with liver, kidney, and pancreas required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• Floating to other units as needed
