ICU RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract assignment in our Intensive Care Unit. You will work the night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting
• Perform procedures including CABG, general surgery, IABP, IMPELLA, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, Rotoprone, and ventilation management
• Float across units per Methodist Hospital's floating policy
• Document patient information in Meditech with medication scanning and controlled substance protocol
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver evidence-based care

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of ICU or critical care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• BSN preferred

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks, starting August 3, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,754
• Weekend schedule and call requirements to be discussed at interview

• Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket
• Clean and healthy nails required
• Hair must be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be neatly trimmed
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
