Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float required to other like units or nearby hospitals as needed
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include orthopedics and bariatric experience on a Tele unit
• Night shift patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift patient ratio of 4-5:1
• Unit census of 20 with 25 beds and 25 rooms
• Medication system: Pyxis
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field required
• 3 years of experience within specialty required for first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and SC RN license
• Required skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, telemetry, and EKG
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
