ED RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Northeast in San Antonio is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract assignment in the Emergency Room. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), with every other weekend required and on-call responsibilities. This role guarantees 36 hours per week and pays $1,754 weekly.

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency room experience
• Current certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• CEN certification preferred
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment
• Perform procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, and behavioral health watch
• Manage sepsis protocols, stroke care with TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alerts
• Float per Methodist Floating Policy across assigned units
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills

Dress Code & Appearance Standards:

• Navy scrubs required; undershirts and jackets must be white, navy, or black only
• No acrylic nails; nails must be no longer than one inch, clean, and unchipped
• Hair must be off shoulders and natural color
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
