ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday requirements vary based on department needs
• Float to OBS unit and freestanding Creighton ER at least once a week
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
• Fast-paced, high acuity environment treating trauma, sepsis, chest pain, shortness of breath, and strokes including TPA administration
• Administer all common drips seen in Level 1 trauma ERs
• Patient ratios: 1:4 in zones, 1:6 in Fast Track, 1:5 in OBS, 1:1 ICU/Trauma
• RNs required to read and interpret their own telemetry/monitor strips
• Charting system: EPIC
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Must pass an open book skills exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (NRP preferred)
• BSN not required
• Valid RN license required
