PCU Registered Nurse Job in Morgantown, WV

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekdays with some weekends
• Typically maintain 1:4 patient ratio; may flex to 1:5 ratio in emergencies
• 13-week contract length with possible extension available
• Blocked schedules considered for weekend blocks only (Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• 1 year of experience in MS/Tele and 2 years of experience in Stepdown required
• Required certifications: BCLS and ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA)
• Required skills: IV start, telemetry monitoring, and ability to read cardiac strips
• Work with adult and geriatric patients in 36-bed unit with daily census of 34
• Dress code: burgundy and/or white scrubs (not provided)
• Chart in Cerner EMR system
• 8 hours of orientation required
• Must limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 2 of the 4 major holidays
• WV or Compact License required
• Must have permanent address >100 miles from facility
