Telemetry RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for a telemetry position in Tucson, Arizona. This is a night shift role working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a three 12-hour shifts per week schedule. The contract runs for 13 weeks, beginning September 14, 2026.

Position Details

• Float pool assignment with willingness to rotate between four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Work six weekend shifts per six-week schedule
• 48-hour guarantee available
• Weekly pay: $2,233.80

Responsibilities

• Provide shift accountability for patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe delivery of care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with available staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Requirements

• Current Arizona nursing license
• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Scrubs: any color acceptable

You will work as part of a dedicated team providing quality patient care on a telemetry unit. This float pool position offers exposure to multiple facilities within the Northwest network while maintaining consistent night shift hours and a manageable patient load.
