ICU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You will provide direct patient care in our Intensive Care Unit at Banner Desert Medical Center, located at 1400 S Dobson Rd, Mesa, AZ. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-day assignment beginning November 9, 2026. You will earn $2,416 per week.

In this role, you will:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and medical directives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to establish realistic, measurable patient goals
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, adjusting the care plan as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate, and legible documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Stroke experience required
• Experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
