ICU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced intensive care unit at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. Your role is to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.

• Clinical responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and care team members. Formulate individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical direction. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop realistic and measurable patient goals. Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed. Maintain accurate, timely, and legible documentation in patient records.
• Team and quality: Delegate and supervise licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel. Provide care based on best available evidence. Participate in shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Stroke experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours, day shift
• Duration: 89 weeks
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,416

Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred. You will work with a collaborative team dedicated to delivering evidence-based care.
