MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional MRI Technologist for a 89-day travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is a local placement working Friday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM (3x12 day shifts). Weekly pay is $2,544.

About the Role

You will operate MRI equipment efficiently, prepare patients for scans, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation. You'll insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures, document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality, and deliver timely results to physicians. You must be familiar with medical terminology and capable of standing for extended periods.

Schedule & Expectations

Weekend blocked days (Friday–Sunday). Holiday shifts are required. On-call and callback responsibilities apply per unit needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE Scanner experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
• New York state license required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• ARRT certification preferred; you must be willing to obtain after starting if not current
