Job Details:

• Day shift position with every other weekend (EOW) and additional weekend shifts based on unit needs
• On-call required as needed
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3+ years of RN Telemetry experience required
• 6 months of travel experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be proficient with Epic charting system
• Community hospital experience preferred
• May float to other units within scope of practice depending on need and census
• May float to Summit or Herrick Campus with shuttle provided; travelers can anticipate approximately 1.5 hours notice prior to shift start time when floating is requested
• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS, CPI
• Key skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV insulin protocols, vasoactive and cardiac drip management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, PICC line management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• 16 orientation hours required
• Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Only 1 holiday per contract may be requested off
