ICU RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will work as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Estrella Medical Center, located at 9201 W Thomas Rd in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a 3x12 night shift position with a duration of 89 days, beginning December 28, 2026. You will earn $2,434 per week.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for critically ill patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, and supervise healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Participate in staff education, orientation, and mentoring activities
• Provide direction and supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona or compact licensure
• BLS certification
• NIH certification
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Must have worked in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the ICU specialty area
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
• Demonstrated clinical performance competencies appropriate to the ICU setting

A bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred. You will be responsible for demonstrating the clinical competencies required in the ICU environment and supporting the healthcare team in delivering quality patient care.
