Med Surg RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

You will work as an RN on a 30-bed Med Surg unit at Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, MO. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning July 14, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours (indicate your preference on submission)
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will care for patients with GI, GU, wound care, acute withdrawal, altered mental status, dialysis/ESRD, and minor surgical conditions. Your patient ratio will be 1:6-7. You will coordinate care activities with ancillary departments and may float to other units based on staffing needs.

Equipment & Systems

You will work with Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, PCA pumps, low air loss mattresses, and remote telemetry monitors. The facility uses EPIC for its electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Current RN license (must meet eligibility criteria or be currently licensed in Missouri)
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• ACLS certification from AHA (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Med Surg experience

Additional Information

Black scrubs are required; leggings and non-black scrubs are not acceptable.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,971.
