Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Float on a rotational basis
• 1 year of telemetry experience required (inpatient only)
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Current RN license required, eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• Work with equipment including telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• EMR system: EPIC
• Patient ratios vary; nights 1:6-1:7 (ratios not guaranteed)
• 32-bed unit serving medical, medical telemetry, and respiratory patients
• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week of orientation
• Scrub color requirement: Black scrubs only
