OR RN Job in Austin, TX

You'll work a 13-week contract assignment as an RN in the Operating Room at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX. Your schedule is Saturday through Monday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (3x12 days), with no call required. You'll serve in a weekend Charge Nurse role and earn $1,971 weekly.

The facility operates 22 ORs with a 1:1 patient ratio. You'll perform procedures across multiple specialties, including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, spine fusions, total joints, craniotomies, mastectomies, and DIEP flaps. You'll work with advanced equipment including robotics, cardiac, vascular, neuro, spine, oncology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and GYN technology. The EMR system is Meditech.

Required experience:

• Neuro/spine experience (required)
• Cardiac experience for cardiac service line placement
• Multiple service line experience preferred, including orthopedics, neuro, general, and robotic surgery

Scrubs are provided by the facility. Your assignment begins October 5, 2026, and runs for 91 days.
