OR RN Job in McKinney, TX

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team on a travel assignment.

Position Details:

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Call requirement of one day per week and one weekend per month (approximately 10 days per month)
• One-to-one patient ratio
• Night shift team includes 1 RN and 1 Certified Surgical Technician
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 31, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,154.96

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Work across 7 operating room suites
• Support orthopedic, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology procedures
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Operate various surgical equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of operating room experience
• General and trauma OR skills
• Neuro and orthopedic/spine experience required
• BLS certification
• Labor & Delivery experience does not meet operating room requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma center experience
• Orthopedic experience

Facility Information:

• Hospital-provided scrubs required; you must change into hospital scrubs each day
