OR RN Job in Pearland, TX

HCA Houston Pearland is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work a 4x10 day schedule, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the possibility of five 8-hour shifts depending on department needs. Night shift consists of call coverage only, with rotation among full-time staff for approximately 5 shifts that include one weekend and evening weekday coverage.

Your Role

As the perioperative nurse, you will support a broad range of surgical specialties in a fast-paced operating room environment. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and handle responsibilities including pulling case carts, providing family updates via phone or Surgical Symphony text, lunch and break relief coverage, and acting as second nurse or support for after-hours recovery nursing. There is no floating required.

Surgical Services You'll Support

• Orthopedic surgery: total joints, revisions, and fractures
• General surgery: robotic, laparoscopic, and open procedures
• Colorectal surgery (robotic)
• Urological surgery
• Gynecological surgery (robotic and laparoscopic)

Equipment and Systems

You will operate equipment including daVinci Xi, Hologic Trident, Stryker laparoscopic towers, Hana table, and Olympus Cystoscopy Tower. The facility uses Meditech EMR; prior experience is preferred but not required.

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Positive attitude and proactive approach to workflow
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment

Facility-dispensed scrubs are provided as your dress code. The weekly pay is $2,183, and the assignment runs 91 days beginning September 28, 2026.
