Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, with possible four 10-hour shifts dependent on department staffing
• Night shift consists of call coverage only
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Call coverage rotation with full-time staff, approximately 5 shifts consisting of 1 weekend and evening weekday coverage
• Facility-dispensed scrubs provided as dress code
• Perform orthopedic surgery including total joints, revisions, and fractures
• Perform general surgery including robotic, laparoscopic, and open procedures
• Perform colorectal surgery (robotic), urological surgery, and gynecological surgery (robotic and laparoscopic)
• Operate equipment including daVinci Xi, Hologic Trident, Stryker laparoscopic towers, Hana table, and Olympus Cystoscopy Tower
• Use Meditech EMR system (prior experience preferred)
• Responsibilities include pulling case carts, providing family updates by phone or Surgical Symphony text, lunch/break relief, and acting as 2nd nurse/support for after-hours recovery nurse
• No floating required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Meditech experience preferred
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, proactive and efficient workflow, and ability to work well within a team
