CT Technologist Job in Bronx, NY

St. Barnabas Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Bronx, NY. This is a nights position working Monday through Friday, 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM, on a 2x11 schedule. The assignment runs for 89 days, starting November 9, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,647.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes
• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and capture appropriate images
• Administer contrast materials and prepare CT scan equipment for use
• Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging results
• Assist with inpatient portable X-rays ordered during the overnight shift
• Follow proper radiation safety procedures to protect both technologist and patient
• Maneuver equipment and assist patients who may have physical limitations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ARRT certification
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license
• NYS certification for contrast injections
