Endoscopy RN Job in Nyack, NY

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Endoscopy/GI Lab. You will deliver direct patient care in a 3-suite endoscopy department, supporting procedures Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with no weekend or holiday call obligations.

Your Role

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for endoscopic patients
• Work in a 1:1 ratio during intraoperative care and 1:3–4 ratio during pre- and post-procedure phases
• Manage vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and patient preparation and recovery
• Perform all endoscopy-related clinical skills with competency
• Collaborate with technicians and nursing assistants within the department
• Document patient care in the EPIC electronic health record system

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Montefiore Nyack Hospital NDNQI Certification
• Endoscopy experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Knowledge of vital signs and cardiac monitoring
• BSN not required

Procedure Types

Common cases include esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. Experience with endoscopic ultrasound and bronchoscopy is desirable but not required.
